FIGHTING UNDERFUNDING AND EXTRA-BILLING
Richard Plain is a Health Economics professor at the University of Alberta and former mayor of St. Albert. He was one of the original members of Friends of Medicare, motivated by concerns that government underfunding followed by hospital and physician charges were combining to undermine medicare. He remained active in FOM during the fight against Ralph Klein’s cutbacks. Download PDF
