Paul Hawryshko left the town of Mundare, Alberta in 1963 to work for the City of Edmonton in the Assessors Department. He explains the assessment process through which the City evaluates the value of residential and commercial properties for tax purposes and shares memories of some of the Mayors he met during his time with the City, including Bill Hawrelak and Ivor Dent. He also recollects his involvement in CUPE and the Alberta Federation of Labour.
