Books, both non-fiction and fiction, that focus on work and working people are of special interest to the Alberta Labour History Institute. Such books are only rarely reviewed or discussed in Alberta media. Over time, ALHI hopes to share information about some of those books in the form of “booknotes” (short reviews as opposed to full-blown ones). The “booknotes” will initially appear in our “Highlights” section and in our monthly newsletter. They will then be archived in the “Booknotes” section of our “Resources.”
